Admittedly, this is not an infomercial. Actually, it is your run of the mill ad about Old Spice, a type of bodywash for men. But look at what a brilliant job they have done. It's cheesy, it's cute and they don't take themselves too seriously. Surely this product sticks in your mind after a memorable ad like this one?

The Old Spice guys have done a number of hilarious ads but none stands out as much as this one. Could be the horse, could be that silly scene on the boat. You got to love the way he keeps asking the viewer to compare the 'goodies' at home with the one on the screen. You know what I mean.

Check out these infomercials and see how they fare. The Caftan craziness one drones on a bit and, to be honest, I would not dig around my postbox whilst wearing that, thank you very much. Or what about the creepy cozy comfort ad? I wish that lady on screen didn't look like she had been drugged, abducted and then put in a fancy straitjacket. Then there is the electronic cigarette infomercial. You'll have to excuse me but that pose and manner of speaking made it look like a briefing session for the Dharma Initiative. Follow this up with the Hawaii chair. Er, am I the only one who misheard him say 'This works great on my abs?' Kind of explains what comes to mind when you see the chair in motion, doesn't it?
