No hoof, no horse!
Someone's been working too hard? Or did this guy just not have enough sleep? This particular clip caught a very embarrassing gaffe on one of the shopping Channels. The presenter tries to tell the viewers about this snazzy new camera. He is going on about the super cool lenses. So, to prove his point, he shows a blown-up version of the picture he took just now. You know, the one about the horse.
Except it is not a horse. It's a moth! A giant, 'look at my wings, wtf do you think I am a horse' kind of moth! At first I figured the poor guy probably didn't see what he was holding up. That could have happened. And all he had to do was gesture at the picture and continue with scripted dialog.
Unfortunately, the poor guy goes on and on about it while pointing at specific bits of the moth-horse. And yes, that's when he peeks at picture. Not once but a few times. I think the lowest point of that fail demo was when he said 'Look at the bushy tail, the big teeth, the hooves'. Okay, good man, stop talking!
Thankfully, the producer quickly tells the guy about his mistake. At which point, he acknowledges it and carries on. I suppose there was nothing else do; how else was he going to save face. I'm just wondering why it took so long for the producer to inform that poor guy. Maybe he was rolling in the floor, laughing away?
