Wonder Button

This is a … weird little product. It's called a 'Wonder Button' and it helps shirt-wearing folks keep cool around the collar area. It's a little button extender sort of device (hook, loop, whatever) that ensures your top button doesn't close up too tight. Wait, what?

My sentiments exactly. Well, it's not a bad product. Actually, when you watch the clip, you get into this 'It's 3 a.m. and anything looks good right now' feeling. It was starting to make sense to me. I mean, why not? It could work. I snapped out of that daze when I saw the price – 10 pounds per button? Er, I don't think so. I love how they are selling three wonder buttons for 26 pounds. One for you, your spouse and a spare one to keep around the house?

Look I could be way off here. Maybe there are tons of happy button extender users out there. Perhaps this is the businessman's secret, the way Victoria has her secret. After careful thinking, can I just say that the above two don't quite compare on the same level. One's coveted by pimply teens all over the world, the other is a 'shh shh' secret that we would really not want to know about our boss. While we are on the topic, surely the folks will be worried about sweating around the arm pit area, in boardrooms, as opposed to fussing over the collar, right? That's what the Axe, Nivea and all other folks have been banking on for years. Unless I am missing something here, collar cooling is not such an issue … at least it does not warrant dishing out 10 bucks.
